Maty says that she decided to make a small wall hanging with the Painter. "I used the same fabric for this as I did when doing designing woman and then kind of did my own thing with the border."

I really like Maty's choice of colors for the border fabrics she used in her wall hanging. The really match the colors in the design. Beautiful work!

"I am not at all sure what the fabric is called that I used as I have had it a very long time but it does look sort of like a linen. It is not a finely woven fabric and is a little like aida cloth but not as stiff.

I still have this hanging on my living room wall."

Maty sent me this picture a long time ago and she agreed to let me put it up so all of you can enjoy her work. This is the Stitcher (Designing Woman) that is available on my site. I love how she framed it. Thanks for sharing.
