| Here comes the Bride!
Original artwork by Roberta Amundson Concept, chart and machine embroidery by Marian Ecker A new technique in cross stitch !! The Bride is done in cross stitch AND 3-D appliqué!! You can make her with or without her veil. This appliqué is very easy to do and I include detailed instructions on how you can stitch her out too on your computerized embroidery machine! The Bride above is done in an ivory color for her dress and ivory veil with ivory satin ribbon on the edge of her veil. I changed her hair color to blonde and I used pearls for her buttons. I used Osnaburg fabric.
Click to see a bigger picture. Here is the Bride done with just 2 of the design sections and the 3-D appliqué on a customized photo album. I used white for her dress and veil this time. This is easy to stitch out. I used a beautiful satin fabric. Click to see a bigger picture. This close-up shows more of the veil along with the Swarovski crystals in her hair and the pearls used for her buttons.
Click to see a bigger picture. This picture shows just one section of the bride and no appliqué for the veil. I customized it with our names and wedding date. As you can see, I changed the colors of the flowers to match our wedding colors. Change the colors for your bride and use it for a ring bearer's pillow or a memento for your special wedding or anniversary.
The BRIDE is a beautiful machine embroidery cross stitch design. I have it done 3 different ways for you. You can make your cross stitch Bride to match the hair colors and color scheme of "your" bride.
