Jo writes, "my main profession ... is music, I'm a classical pianist and teacher... My paintings seem to make people think of music too although I don't consciously try to do this but they seem to come out very flowing in shapes."

This one is an abstract landscape.

The pansy runner was done using some of Elsa Goussard's pansy designs.

"The vase of flowers was my adaptation of the design that came with the D1 set. I actually took it into Artista software and changed the shape of the vase, the angle of one of the flowers, added more stems to the flowers and some other details etc and just generally made it feel more artistic (to my taste at least!)."

"The gum leaf study was a doodle that grew into a drawing that I then digitized in Artista."

"The fat pussycat cushion was a commission from a lady who bought an owl cushion (featured in Machine Embroidery magazine Vol 6, No 4) and gave me this colossally fat cat clipart to digitize and create into a matching cushion to her owl! As it is I slimmed him down quite a lot but he still looks huge!!!"
