Louise says, "First on my list was to do "The Trio" for my son's primary school music teacher, as he was moving up to secondary school in January this year. That mission was achieved, but I was a bit timid and only did the smaller "lite" version. Nevertheless, I was over the moon with the result. I made it into a cushion and took it around with me for a "brag tour" before presenting it to the music teacher. She in turn was more than thrilled with the gift and has given it pride of place in her music room at home!"

Louise says, I "stitched "The Quilter". This time I summoned up all my courage and did the full size 2-hoop version. My heart was pounding when the time came to do the second hoop. However, on the very first attempt, I had secured the design as straight as could be, followed the instructions and advanced the machine, adjusting my needle position to exactly the right point - and off I went again! Needless to say the result is PERFECT - no trace of where the design is split!

Once again I made a cushion and by Sunday I was ready to give to the recipient - a very dear friend of mine whose birthday it is today.

She is a crafter herself and I knew that she would appreciated the gift, but I was stunned by her reaction - she actually burst into tears when she saw it! Today, she is taking it around on a "brag tour" to all her crafter friends!

Louise says, "... I have made up my mind that this is the year I am going to spoil all my special friends by presenting them with Victorian Lady cushions!"

Wonderful job! I am so glad you like the Victorian Ladies designs. I love your explanation about your stitchouts. It really isn't all that hard to do these large designs once you try them. Thank you for sharing your scans of your projects!
