Graphic Intensive - allow extra time to load!
These pictures were taken by Bob Ecker on November 7 and 8, 2004. What a wonderful light show! Click each picture for a much better view.
Bob took more than what is shown here but some of them look similar. He used our Sony digital camera. I reduced these in size so that they would load faster so they don't look as great as the originals. It was so amazing to watch. We stood out in the VERY cold weather for about 2 hours watching. There were almost no clouds and some vapor trails from jets but everything else was part of the light show. Most of the "lights" changed very quickly. The last picture shows a jet going through. It looks like a line. What a show it was! These pictures were taken from our deck. We live a bit north of Jackson, Michigan.
