Here is Steve and Bob finishing the last of the windows for the room.
The outside looks a lot better without those pieces of plastic up there.  Much nicer.
The planking is really progressing.  The south side of the ceiling is all done and most of the north side.  The walls are coming along nicely too.
Here are the last few planking pieces going up for the ceiling.  The skylight will be done later.  The planks had to be cut out for each of those light cans.
Well, I finally got my built-in ironing board installed and what happens?  Bob decides to work on a shirt for Steve!  Don't you think it would be easier with an iron rather than a drill?

The built-in ironing board was the first thing I bought for the new room.

This is where I am working while the room is being completed.  Please, someone help me find my computers!  I have two of them in here and 3 embroidery machines plus a whole lot more.  I see my serger back there too.
For those on the D1 list, here is a picture of what I am going to be doing with the blinds.  I asked on that list for help in finding a blind company.  It is hard to see but Steve made holes for me that go from the bottom of the trapezoid windows down behind the planking and the window framing.  The tubes come out just above the bottom windows - in the middle.

More on those later - when I make the blinds.  I wanted something motorized and installed but they don't really make anything for this shape of window.

This is Griffin, our doggie.  He is mostly blind (since birth) and he is terrified of all the noise.  He goes behind all my stabilizer and desk to try to find a place to hide.  We sent him to stay at Grammy's house for a week because it was so hard on him.
Griffin, get out of my silk dupioni!!

He was trying to find a good hiding place in the closet and was finding the thread tails - poor thing!

Here they put in some of the cabinets for the back wall and they have started the hardwood flooring.
